CISMA is the biggest international exhibition in the world today that presents design, cutting, sewing, packaging and storing machinery for apparel.

SIERROS BROS S.A. was present in the CISMA Exhibition again this year. Mr. Nikolaos Sierros was the one who visited the exhibition and these are a few of his findings.

- There are many new production systems and machines, which means that there are more solutions for our customers available today.
- The trend of the world market is towards the use of decorative stitches. There are many new special machines for this purpose and it is certain that our customers who will take a look at the samples we have available in our hands now will find the special decorative stitch that suits their product best.
- New embroidery machines with improved capabilities are now available.

One of our suppliers, TYPICAL, was in the CISMA Exhibition. Mr. Nikolaos Sierros marks:

"TYPICAL, which is cooperating with BROTHER, has a production of 50000 machines per month, which makes it the largest manufacturer of sewing machinery in the world. It is a big satisfaction for SIERROS BROS S.A. to know that TYPICAL, which we selected in 1997 as one of our main suppliers, is trusted by the apparel industry to such a great degree. Besides, this certifies our claim that we select our suppliers carefully and cooperate only with the best."

TYPICAL presented various new models in its booth in the CISMA Exhibition. Some categories that are new are listed below:
- zic-zac machine with electronic designs,
- lockstitch edge-trimmer with compound feet,
- multineedle machines with various number of needles,
- lockstitch bar tacker,
- buttonholes,
- embroidery machines with several numbers of heads (up to 24),
- automatic pocket setter,
- automatic belt-loop setter (twin needle), and
- other new machinery or existing machinery with improved features.
